Luoyang, Jianxi intro. Jangxi is a district of the Chinese city Luoyang, which is located in north Henan province. There's an impressive amount of ancient history in and around this city, including true highlights such as the sculptures of Longmen National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Luoyang Museum is a good place to start your explorations of this city, as it provides an excellent overview of the area's history. The Ancient Han Tombs Museum is another wonderful venue with excavated tombs from the Han Dynasty. Among the many temples in Jangxi, Baima and Guanlin are two of the most interesting. If you need a little greenery head to Wangcheng Park for a relaxing stroll. Ancient Store Street should not be missed if you want to do any shopping, while the Shanghai Market is a more budget spot. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, including the fun outdoor street food along Dirty Street. Jangxi hotels range from budget hostels to very luxurious five-star accommodation.
