Hyderabad Madhapur hotels map
Hyderabad, Madhapur intro. The Hyderabad district of Madhapur is the latest area to transform itself from a rural village to a major modern hub for India's IT industries. Its centre is HITEC City, with the largest concentration of IT firms in Hyderabad and the Hitex Conference Centre, which hosts IT exhibitions and conferences attended by delegates from across India and the world. As a result, a real estate boom, including Madhapur hotels as well as residential developments such as luxury condo blocks, is taking place and other industries such as fashion are moving in. There's not a lot to see here on a day out of the office, although the Secret Lake, now surrounded by a concrete jungle, is a good place to relax. A few kilometres away are lush botanical gardens and the lovely Peddama temple, and it's easy to travel by train, bus or taxi to the centre of the city for its amazing street markets and the Old City on the river's southern bank.
