Vienna, Dobling intro. Dobling, on the edge of the Weinarwald Forest, is one of the richest neighbourhoods in Vienna. Despite its affluence, the district is mainly visited by tourists to take in the Karl-Marx-Hof, one of the first social housing projects in the Austrian capital. It is an incredibly long apartment block, but unlike blocks that were built in Eastern Europe, it is an attractive building. This district also has a rich musical tradition and visitors are able to visit the building, which is affiliated with the Wien Museum in central Vienna, where Mozart composed his Eroica. Traditional Austrian wine bars are on hand in this part of the city for those looking to kick back after a day of sightseeing. Dobling's heurigens (wine bars) mostly sell locally-produced wine. There are, in fact, a large amount of vineyards in this part of Vienna that tourists can visit and purchase some of the local wine. Dobling hotels are small in number, but are usually family-run businesses which offer excellent service.
