The fourth-largest city in the country, Beerescourt is a suburb in the northern part of the city of Hamilton. Beerescourt hotels are clustered around either side of Ulster Street. This area has many parks which are popular with local residents, such as Edgecumbe Park, Minogue Park and Willoughby Park. The parks offer a range of sporting activities. Visitors can enjoy walking along the banks of the beautiful Waikato River, the longest river in New Zealand, or boating. In the centre of town, visitors will find the Waikato Museum of Art & History, which showcases local art and culture.
