Meredith hotels map
Meredith intro. The town of Meredith is a popular place for many to visit for its beautiful natural surroundings. It is in the American state of New Hampshire, located between Lake Waukewan and the larger lake of Lake Winnipesaukee. Most of the hotels in Meredith are close to or on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, meaning they have stunning lake views and are close to recreational areas as well as the town centre. In the downtown area you'll find all the shopping facilities, restaurants, bars and travel services. Meredith also boasts a handful of museums and theatres that get particularly active during the peak summer tourist season. Nearby is the Stonedam Island Natural Area, where you can hike and soak in the wildlife. The Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad starts out in the centre of town taking passengers on a scenic ride through the rolling hills of New Hampshire. Every summer the Great Rotary Fishing Derby lures thousands of anglers to town to try their luck with the excellent fishing environment in the lake.
