Zanesville hotels map
Zanesville intro. Zanesville is a medium-sized town in Muskingum County, eastern Ohio that resides between Columbus and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It's just off I-70 and US-40 and gets its name from founder of Zane's Trace, Ebenezer Zane. The town was, at one time, the state capital and comes with a collection of landmarks on the National Register of Historic Places. There are plenty of Zanesville hotels to base yourself; many of which are on or near the interstate highway. There are also many attractions to discern, including the Muskingum River Parkway and the unique Zanesville Y-Bridge. You can take rides on the Muskingum River via the Lorena Sternwheeler, to boot, and visit an Underground Railroad station. Other top sights near to hotels include the 26-room Schultz Mansion, the Art Gallery, and the Landing Park, while out of town is Blue Rock State Park and the Muskingum River State Park. Many hotels are mainly along the East Pike of I-70 and North 7th Street.
