Lebanon hotels map
Lebanon intro. The town of Lebanon is in the middle of the Lebanon Valley on the eastern side of the US's Pennsylvania State. The city of Harrisburg and the River Susquehanna are 25 miles west of the boundary. Motels, traveller's inns and hotels in Lebanon are dotted around the region. There is a central grouping of the properties on Cumberland Street which runs through the city centre and is close to shops, pubs, fast food outlets and sit-down eateries. The Stoy Museum is west along Cumberland Street and offers eclectic exhibits and displays that depict the Valley's German, Dutch and mining heritage. In the heart of the town the Cornwall Iron Furnace Museum, Mount Gretna Lake and Coleman Memorial Park are easily reached on daytrips from the establishments. The valley is the centre for activities that include hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing and canoeing. Regional restaurants serve Dutch Pennsylvanian specialities such as shoo fly pie.
