Wymondham intro. Wymondham is located along the A11 going towards the large city of Norwich. The town is most famous for its stunning flint-style buildings, many of which are still intact. Amongst some of these old style buildings visitors can also expect to see the famous local style of roof - the thatched roof. Market Cross in the centre of the town is today used as a tourist office, which can give information about local sights to see. Some of the recommended places to go in Wymondham include the beautiful Wymondham Abbey. Wymondham hotels generally are found close to the abbey as this is a major attraction. Other attractions found in the town include Wymondham Windmill, the old Manor House and the well-preserved St Peter's Church. Tourists who enjoy eating cheese will be pleased to discover the town boasts some Stilton producing factories which can be visited.
