Giza hotels map
Giza intro. Along the River Nile in Egypt is Giza, situated on the west bank of the river. One of the city's most famous pull-factors is the Giza Plataea, which houses some of the world's most spectacular historic Egyptian artefacts. Giza hotels are found across the area, which is governed by Cairo. One of the most important sights to visit when here is the Great Pyramids of Giza: the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre and the Pyramid of Menkaure. Other famous monuments that must be visited are the Great Sphinx, the Solar Barque Museum, the Queens' Pyramids and the famous Nobles Tomb. The Tomb of Seshemnufer IV is open to the public for exploration. Camels and horses are available for hire around the pyramids for easy touring. After dark there is a light and sound show covering important eras in Ancient Egypt's history.
