Juan Dolio intro. Juan Dolio is a seaside resort on the Dominican Republic's southern shore, halfway between Santo Domingo and the town of La Romana. It boasts magnificent beaches and is also a destination for golfing enthusiasts. There is a good selection of hotels in Juan Dolio. Most of the properties are spread along the resort's coastline between the beaches at Playa Guayacanes and Playa Real.
