Ballygally hotels map
Ballygally intro. In Northern Ireland's County Antrim is the tiny village and holiday resort of Ballygally. Its location right on the Antrim coast gives it both scenic beaches and rolling inland hills ripe for exploration. Most visitors come to this village to enjoy the beach, which is very popular in summer with families and their children. Fun activities are on hand around the village, such as mini-golf, bungee jumping, train rides and a go-kart track. Ireland's oldest occupied building, Ballygally Castle, is the main architectural attraction here. With a reputation for being haunted, it was built in 1625 but is now a four-star hotel right in the heart of the village. Most visitors choose Ballygally hotels outside of town at the beach. As less than 1,000 people live in Ballygally, there aren't many amenities here. The larger town of Lame is just three miles away and contains a good range of restaurants, pubs and shops catering to tourists holidaying at the beaches in the area.
