Bethlehem hotels map
Bethlehem intro. Bethlehem is a popular destination for tourists, especially those with religious beliefs. There are a handful of hotels in Bethlehem, a few of which are luxury, although most Bethlehem hotels have great service and airy rooms. The hotels in Bethlehem are generally situated around the riverside and within walking distance to the Church of Nativity in Manger Square and Rachel’s Tomb. As Bethlehem is inhabited by 59 per cent Muslims, there are many mosques such as the Mosque of Omar, which is a very pretty building. Just outside of the city are Solomon’s Pools and the Mar Elias hiking trails. There are many different types of restaurants to suit every taste here, from Mexican, Moroccan and Turkish to Arab cuisine. Small cafes, shisha bars and gift shops are everywhere so visitors will never be lost for a place to rest and relax before jetting off to the next attraction. It’s not just pilgrims who venture to Bethlehem as many tourists head to the Turkish Baths here for their healing properties.
