Tuross Head hotels map
Tuross Head intro. A quiet, quaint coastal destination set on the south coast of New South Wales, Tuross Head is a favourite spot for family holidays. Well of the beaten tourist track and set between the twin lakes of Coila and Tuross, the headland is one of the most scenic along the entire coast. The village lies between Narooma and Bateman's Bay, close to rugged national parks and historic craft villages such as Tilba Tilba and Mogo. Tuross Head hotels come in the form of motels, bed and breakfasts and holiday homes. Sea, river and shore fishing are all popular here, and the golden beaches offer surfing, scuba diving, swimming and snorkelling. Cruising along the coast or bushwalking in the pristine areas overlooking the town are other favourite holiday occupations, and the views of the distant Blue Mountains, lakes and rivers, and the glistening ocean are second to none. Tuross oysters are famous, with several in-town restaurants known for this speciality.
